Science is exciting! Science is the curiosity to learn!

The Astrogazers want you to see and think beyond the limits of the physical world and the space we occupy in the vastness of the universe.

Bringing astronomy to the street, this student-led ‘sidewalk astronomy’ project is an outreach effort started by MKI grad students and postdocs a few years ago. We bring our telescopes to the sidewalks and offer passersby the opportunity to view and observe astronomical objects. We also participate in various events around the Cambridge/Boston area, notably the annual Cambridge Science Festival.
