Infrared Observations of the Galactic Center

Sebastiano will present various observations of the Galactic Center, focusing on the central few arcseconds around Sgr A*, the massive black hole at the heart of our galaxy. He will begin by discussing the nuclear star cluster, and then present current infrared and X-ray flare observations of Sgr A* using multiwavelength data from GRAVITY, Spitzer, and JWST in the near- to mid-infrared, as well as NuSTAR and Chandra in the X-ray.
