Chloe Hanks
Electrical Engineer II
Chloe is an Electrical Engineer at MKI specializing in designing electronics for space-based systems to survive harsh environments in support of scientific endeavors. She holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering and B.A. in Russian from Brigham Young University.
Her background is in design/test of electromechanical hardware to support long-term human spaceflight missions. Chloe was the electrical lead for the Ground Support Equipment group on xEMU, and was the Human-computer Interface lead for the Display & Control Unit for the xEVAS spacesuit. Her test experience ranges from component- to systems-level integrated testing as well as usability testing with veteran astronauts. She has flown over 100 zero-gravity parabolas to support hardware and human factors testing.
Back on Earth, Chloe enjoys reading, painting, and creating various handiworks.
