Anna Juráňová
37-524
Anna conducted her doctoral research at SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research and Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam and obtained her PhD in 2024. Her research focuses on the central environment of active galactic nuclei (AGN), especially its spatial structure and the processes of accretion and ejection of ionized gas. The overarching goal of her work is to decipher the physical properties of this environment and to unravel the origin and impact of AGN outflows on the surrounding environment. To achieve these objectives, Anna primarily uses high-resolution UV and X-ray spectroscopy, multi-band spectral modeling, and Fourier spectral-timing techniques.
