Charith is a junior mechanical engineering major at Olin College of Engineering conducting research with Drs. Barsotti and Carcasona, along with Regina Lee and JD Heyns, on scattered-light mitigation for Cosmic Explorer and suspension design and testing for LIGO A#. He previously completed a co-op at SpaceX supporting the Starshield team through satellite production line and satellite communications hardware design, and also leads electric spacecraft propulsion research within the Olin Plasma Engineering Lab (OPEL).
