Eleanor Rath

Eleanor works in experimental radio cosmology and is advised by Jacqueline Hewitt. Eleanor’s research is focused on developing novel data processing techniques for detection of the 21 cm signal from neutral hydrogen during the Epoch of Reionization. She has worked with the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA) Collaboration since 2020. Eleanor is from Buffalo NY. Before coming to MIT, she earned her B.A. in Physics from the University of Chicago and worked as a technician with the ATLAS experiment at CERN.
