Jacques Haoming Ding

Jacques is currently visiting the MIT LIGO Lab from October 2023 to October 2024, working in Nergis Mavalvala’s group on theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum optics and its applications to metrology. He is a PhD student in Laboratoire Astroparticule et Cosmologie at Université Paris Cité, France. Jacques previously worked in the experimental realization of frequency dependent squeezing in the Virgo gravitational wave detector in Pisa, Italy. He has also worked with cold atoms in the French quantum computing company Pasqal at Institut d’Optique, Paris. He graduated from the French École Polytechnique cycle ingénieur polytechnicien (B.Sc. & M.Sc.). Jacques is currently Ingénieur du corps des Mines.
