Jaime Alvarez
Graduate Student
Jaime is a graduate student in the LIGO group at MIT. He earned his associate degree in Physics from Fullerton College before transferring to UC Berkeley, where he received his BA in Physics. At Berkeley, he worked on modeling quantum noise in LIGO and squeezed light sources. He is broadly interested in gravitational-wave instrumentation and precision measurement.
