Nicholas Demos

Nicholas is from Anaheim, California and received his B.S. in Physics from California State University, Fullerton. His undergraduate research was with Professor Geoffrey Lovelace and focused on numerically simulating colliding black holes and numerically modeling mirror coating thermal noise. Nicholas began his graduate studies at MIT in the fall of 2017 and works in the LIGO lab with Professor Matthew Evans on various instrumentation related projects to improve LIGO’s sensitivity.
